Teaching

As I teach I learn. That's perhaps why I developed the Self Discovery through Acting workshops. When we unfold our gifts and get rid of fears, we find out how powerful we are. What an exciting experience to feel more open, compassionate, inspired, understanding, loving and giving! What if we end up attracting what we've always wished for: the best!?

Current Classes

ET VOILA! is teaching Self Discovery Theater Program for teenage girls in a residential facility this summer.

Self Discovery through Acting is a day workshop at the beach in August.

Adult and Children's Acting Classes

Private Individual Classes by Appointment.

The "Basic Acting Technique" classes consist of warm up, stretching, movement, physical theater, development of and harnessing imagination, unleaching spontaneity, doing a simple action, working on voice and diction, story telling, character development, collaboration with others, improvisational skills, scenes and monologues, tasting the power of the stage, and much more.

In "On Camera" workshop I ususally work with students who are already familiar with the basics. We cover the auditioning process, the importance to understand the teamwork, script reading, following directions, creating a character, play a scene. The students will improvise, rehearse and shoot simple scenes, watch the work given a constructive feedback in non-threatning, caring, fun environment.

"I enjoyed the class very much. I usually left class feeling more relaxed, glad, and present than I felt before I'd arrived that evening. I liked playfulness we were encouraged in, and the freedom to have nothing be wrong." Rachel

"The class was great for experimenting with self-expression as well as learning ways to warm up, both mind and body." Michael

"This exceeded my hopes. Your passion is a great gift. You make the space special - wonderful opportunities arise. A nice feeling of peer support/group energy. I had a lot of fun. The personal feedback was so great and affirming. I would like to study/learn more." Stephen

"I thoroughly enjoyed this class and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for fun and self-discovery. I hope there is a Level II. class. I find myself thinking in different ways and being a little more playful. It's also been great getting to watch classmates open up....Thanks for your inspiration, creativity, and for sharing your joy and passion." Sharon

"Zuzana is an excellent teacher. The course followed a logical order and each class built on skills or exercises we covered in prior classes. She created a very safe environment, enabling me to truly discover much about myself." Darla
